What we do

Development that works beyond the lab.

Each project is shaped around the product, the process and the commercial reality behind it. The goal is a clear technical direction and a prototype you can evaluate.

01

Concept & formulation

Translate a product idea into a structured formula with ingredient selection, dosage logic, processing considerations and target sensory profile.

02

Prototype development

Prepare bench-scale, tasting-ready samples for technical review, sensory assessment and focused iteration before factory trials.

03

Reformulation & optimisation

Improve taste, ingredient choices, process fit or product cost while protecting the core experience of an existing beverage.

04

Scale-up & technical transfer

Prepare practical technical inputs for trials, processing parameters, specifications and cross-functional production implementation.

Selected project experience

Products developed from first formula to commercial production.

A selection of beverage projects led or developed by BevOrigin founder Levan Nepharidze during his professional R&D career.

IDS Borjomi Georgia2024–2026

Energia by Borjomi

Mineral water + juice energy drink

Originated the concept and led two years of formulation, sensory and stability testing, and production implementation for a no-added-sugar beverage.

Commercial result

Four flavours launched in 2026, with distribution across more than 30 countries.

IDS Borjomi Georgia2022–2023

Borjomi Lemonade

Juice + mineral water lemonade

Initiated the concept and formulation, refined the sensory profile through a year of trials, designed the tunnel-pasteurisation process and led production implementation.

Commercial result

A four-flavour range launched in 2023 and sold across more than 30 countries.

Campa2019–2021

Campa & Chveni Juices

Juice formulation & commercialisation

Developed juice formulations and supported products from laboratory work through factory trials and commercial production, including ingredient selection and local alternatives.

Additional category

Also developed recipes for Mosvi iced tea and reviewed processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. These examples describe Levan Nepharidze’s work in employed R&D roles and are presented as professional experience, not as BevOrigin client engagements or endorsements.

How it works

A clear path from brief to production.

The scope stays focused and transparent. Each stage produces a concrete output, so you can make the next decision with evidence rather than guesswork.

STEP 01

Define the brief

Product ambition, consumer, market, format, constraints and success criteria.

STEP 02

Set direction

Ingredients, process route, technical risks and a practical development plan.

STEP 03

Build prototypes

Bench formulations and tasting-ready samples for structured evaluation.

STEP 04

Refine & verify

Sensory iteration, stability planning and fit against the agreed brief.

STEP 05

Prepare to scale

Technical transfer inputs and support for trials and production readiness.

Hands-on expertise

Science, sensory judgment and manufacturing reality.
